One of our maxims is Be Curious and we always encourage our kids, clients, business partners, network, to investigate and seek to learn.
But it’s our experience that more often than not, the WRONG questions are being asked!
It reminds me of this short story...
A guy asks his neighbour in an apartment building:
“Mr Trepper, you live directly above me, and you have the same two-room apartment as I do. How many rolls of wallpaper did you buy when you moved in?”
“We got 18 rolls,” answers the neighbour.
Two months later the guy meets his neighbour again and says, “It’s really funny – I put the wallpaper on everywhere and I still had 10 rolls left over.”
Neighbour smiles, “Yeah, so did we.”
Ask the wrong questions, you get the wrong answers!
One to think about in your business (and life outside of work) this week because getting the questions right means that the answers will follow...
