Carrying A Cushion

Carrying A Cushion

January 27, 20261 min read

Carrying a cushion makes moving around more difficult than if you didn’t have to carry it.

If you add another cushion on top, then it gets more difficult.

What if you add another three, five, ten?

Well, it becomes more difficult to balance them all, and impossible to see past the pile you’re carrying.

Running a business can feel like this when you’re trying to do everything. It’s overwhelming, exhausting, you feel the weight of the burden, and you lose sight of the end goal.

And it’s either because:

1. You can’t let go or delegate because you don’t have the people or systems set-up in place,

2. Or it’s because you don’t believe (or trust) anyone to do as good a job as you.

BUT - if you could put down some of the cushions, wouldn’t life feel a lot easier for you and those around you?

One to think about this week...
