Mrs N took Lily and her friend to the cinema to watch The Secret Life of Pets 2. Lily loved it so much, this was her second viewing.
With all great animations, the characters connected emotionally with every viewer (however young or old) and was packed with morals.
At the end, Max, a terrier and the main protagonist, says:
“You never know what life is going to throw at you. And you have two choices, run from it, or run at it.”
It’s our experience working across 60+ industry sectors over the last nine years, that the difference between successful businesses and those that simply tick over boils down to ONE thing:
Overcoming something you’re afraid of and obsessing on that one thing to make it a reality.
Too many business owners get comfortable, which is fine.
The issue is when you’ve lost your mojo, have hit a ceiling, got stuck, want to get to that next level, or simply realise you’ve not moved your business to where you thought you would over the last X years.
Taking that next step will involve taking your biggest fear head on.
My advice is:
- Plan for Pain – this will move you to action more than pleasure.
- Start becoming Comfortable with the Uncomfortable.
- Start thinking about what could go RIGHT, rather than what may go wrong.
- Never be afraid to ask for help.
What are you going to do, run from it or run at it?
