EweMove triumphs at Ad Astra Awards 2016
• Annual Awards organised by Business Mentor & Scalability Coach Martin Norbury celebrates achievements of its UK members
• Estate Agency EweMove awarded for their strategic focus
Property experts EweMove, who’s HQ is based in West Yorkshire, beat off strong competition from fellow members across the UK at the recent Ad Astra Awards 2016. Hosted by Scalability Coach Martin Norbury, EweMove won I’m an Entrepreneur…Get me out of Here! Award 2016; an accolade praising the company’s strategic focus.
David Laycock and Glenn Ackroyd, co-owners of EweMove, have been working with Martin for over twelve months originally as part of Nigel Botterill’s Mastermind, and then onto the Advocate Program; a new approach to the principles of the Non-Executive Director which brings all the benefits and advantages “big” business have to the small-to-medium-sized business.
Martin commented: “Huge congratulations to David and Glenn for being the stand out winners of this exciting category. A key decision for any business leadership team is to determine where they are before they can decide on what path to take. It is actually quite damaging to set out on a path believing the business is at one point only to discover that it is in a completely different place. EweMove have been incredibly successful in focusing their strategy to expand; this has enabled them to release their day-to-day involvement, giving them more freedom to experiment, which I’m proud to see is paying dividends.”
Glenn Ackroyd, Head Shepherd and co-owner of EweMove commented: “We’re humbled to be honoured with this award. We’ve been extremely focussed over the past 12 months scaling up our business, moving it up the notches tenfold with a careful eye on not to grow broke. Being focused on our end goal was our starting point, and remains a key motivation for us.
