‘I don’t work Fridays’ Announces Sponsorship Deal with Yateley Silverbacks Basketball Club
Amazon #1 bestselling business book I don’t work Fridays by Martin Norbury, is pleased to announce a new sponsorship deal with with Yateley Silverbacks Basketball Club for the 2021/2022 season.
Pete Daines, Silverbacks Club Founder, Chairman, Player and Coach said:
“Despite the challenges of COVID, Yateley Silverbacks has doubled the size of its youth squads, and we’ve gone from seven teams to eleven. The sponsorship money goes towards kits, coaches, court hire, registrations, and everything we need to help this club run; we wouldn’t be able to do it without them.
“Martin and Jacki of I don’t work Fridays have also been supporting the club with their business mentoring and marketing expertise, and we look forward to working with them to achieve our next phase of growth.
“In his book, Martin focuses on the importance of getting a team in the right environment, all aligned, to get the best results. Belief, learning from lessons, and routine are key themes repeated throughout, and these all fit really well with our club ethos.”
Martin Norbury, author of I don’t work Fridays commented:
“We love sponsoring Yateley Silverbacks because we believe that what Pete and the Club are all about is helping youngsters develop and grow into responsible and respectable adults, whilst having fun at the same time.
“The Silverbacks stand for inclusivity, encouragement, honesty and commitment; all with a focus on playing to win, not playing not to lose. There is much synergy with the core themes in my book and we’re hoping we can help reach even more of the broader community to enjoy the sport and support Yateley Silverbacks whether playing, coaching, or spectating.”
