Sorry to Interrupt You…
Well, I’m not really sorry, as this will help you and your business – immediately!
Interruptions from your team are stopping your business from growing…
But there are just three reasons you’re being interrupted…
And you can fix these NOW!
Interruption Reason 1: “I don’t know how to”.
This is easy to fix by documenting the process and producing a manual.
Interruption Reason 2: “I’m not allowed to”.
Simply give, or up the level of, authority to your team as required.
Interruption Reason 3: “I need stroking”.
People by nature crave attention, so you need to find ways to give your team praise and attention, for example 1:1 feedback or daily team huddles.
And if you’ve not done so already, you need to create an Interrupters Log which is a basic record of the interruptions you experience during the course of a day.
You can then see whether or not they are necessary, or plan for them in your daily schedule.
