Rock & Rapid triumphs at Ad Astra Awards 2016
• Annual Awards organised by Business Mentor & Scalability Coach Martin Norbury celebrates achievements of its UK members
• Devon-based Rock & Rapid Adventures recognised for setting up a clear vision and business strategy
Rock & Rapid Adventures based in North Devon, beat off strong competition from fellow members across the UK at the recent Ad Astra Awards 2016. Hosted by Scalability Coach Martin Norbury, Rock & Rapid won the Cheshire Cat Award 2016; an accolade praising the company’s focus on setting up a clear vision and business and marketing strategy to effectively achieve this. The award category was aptly based on the wise quote by the Cheshire Cat in Alice in Wonderland: ‘If you don’t know where to are going, any road will get you there.’
Keith Crockford of Rock & Rapid has been working with Martin for over twelve months as part of the Advocate Program; a new approach to the principles of the Non-Executive Director which brings all the benefits and advantages “big” business have to the small-to-medium-sized business.
Martin commented: “Huge congratulations to Keith for being the clear winner in this category. Entrepreneurs often feel overwhelmed and adrift in a business fog at some point; not knowing who to turn to or which way to go next. Keith, however, has invested a lot of energy into clearly building, and sharing, his vision for his company Rock & Rapid. He is always focused on his end goal and can therefore measure the results of his award-winning marketing campaigns.”
Keith Crockford, owner and founder of Rock & Rapid, commented: “It’s a huge honour to be individually recognised from a pool of very experienced businesses. It sounds so simple, but having absolute clarity on the direction you are taking your business is paramount. As a business owner, you’re often stuck IN the business running it day-to-day. So to have the ability to pull myself out and focus ON the business this way has been enlightening and rewarding both professionally and personally.”
