Easy Online Recruitment, based in Deeside, beat off strong competition from fellow members across the UK at the recent Ad Astra Awards 2016. Hosted by Scalability Coach Martin Norbury, Easy Online Recruitment won the Blues and Twos Award 2016; an accolade praising the company’s focus on measuring, and improving upon, activity and performance.

The Blues and Twos Award category looks at how effective a business is in setting up a dashboard of alerts (activities leading to outcomes such as leads or enquiries), and alarms (the output themselves including sales numbers, gross margin and profit). For any business to understand where it is, it needs some kind of measures in place to determine how far on (or off) target it is. The business maxim from Peter Drucker, ‘what gets measured, gets managed’, is very true and helps the business with key milestones.

Easy Online Recruitment has been working with Martin for just over four months as part of the Advocate Program; a new approach to the principles of the Non-Executive Director which brings all the benefits and advantages “big” business have to the small-to-medium-sized business.
