Ad astra. To the stars.
We’re often asked why we use Ad astra as our motto here at Advocate.
So, seeing as it’s Fun Facts About Names Day…here’s a little explanation!
Martin first came across the phrase – Ad astra – back in 1979 when he started life at Slough Grammar (now Upton Court), one of the top ten Grammar Schools in the country. Their vision and motto, still used today, speak for their aspiration they have for their students.
Here at Advocate, Ad astra stands for our ambition for business growth and success for our clients.
If you think we’re about business coaching, then you’ve missed the point. What we stand for is helping business owners choose what they do with their tomorrow.
As well as building proven SCALE models and processes, we put as much energy and passion into helping develop personal skills and changing the way our clients think, act and behave.
Yes, we’re brutally honest, but our principles remain respectful and honourable. Doing the right thing is just as important to us as doing things right.
We only work with people who have high ambitions to transform their business and lifestyle, are enablers and implementers, and who are prepared to look in the mirror. So, we ultimately look at working with upcoming or established Stars in their chosen industry, whatever their business and background.
This means we accelerate the rate of change, get real results and we celebrate and enjoy success together.
Here’s our Hall of Fame of the winners of our coveted Ad astra Award.
