7 Ways To Boost Your Marketing Efforts – Lessons from PRIME
Having eleven-year-old twins, both into multiple sports, I often feel like Indiana Jones searching for the Lost Ark, but in our world, the Ark is a bottle of ‘Ice Pop’ PRIME Drink that has been sighted on a shelf in an Asda…in another county.
Our journey to the treasure is more perilous than our hero Indy, as the kids are obsessed with the prestige and status of holding the elusive bottles.
Whether you like it or loathe it, there are lots of lessons we can all learn from the billion-dollar-rated sports drink that only started in January 2022.
Now, this is a market you wouldn’t think to enter as the big boys heavily dominate it. Still, two YouTubers, KSI and Logan Paul decided they could do it bigger and better.
7 Strategies to Adopt to Boost Your Marketing Efforts:
1). Know Your Target Market:
One of the keys to PRIME’s success is knowing its target market. By appealing to a younger, athletic demographic, they created a product that resonated with their fans and followers. Have you identified and researched your demographic to understand their needs and desires, and created a marketing message that speaks directly to them?
2). Collaborate with Influencers:
Their success with PRIME was partly due to collaboration with influencers; by working with popular YouTubers, athletes, and clubs like LA Dodgers, they were able to reach a larger audience and increase the visibility of their products. Have you identified influencers to collaborate with, along with a plan to entice them e.g., discounts, sample products, or paying them to promote your product on their social media channels?
3). Embrace Social Media:
PRIME have been great at using social platforms like Twitter, Instagram, and Tik Tok, enabling them to reach a large audience, interact with fans, and promote products in a fun and engaging way. Which social media channels are your audiences hanging out in and are you posting and engaging regularly with your Followers?
4). Use Bold and Eye-Catching Design:
The bold and eye-catching design of PRIME’s packaging and logo sets it apart from other energy drinks on the market, and helps it stand out on store shelves. How can you make your products/services stand out from the crowd?
5). Provide Exceptional Customer Service:
PRIME has been commited to providing exceptional customer service; they’ve built a loyal following by responding to customer questions and concerns and encouraging customers to return and purchase their product again. Do you currently WOW your customers (do you even know?).
6). Utilise Video Marketing:
PRIME continue to create engaging and entertaining videos that speaks directly to their audiences. How are you using video to reach your target market (e.g., product demonstrations, how-to videos, customer testimonials etc) – or are you even using video?
7). Offer Limited-Time Promotions:
A final strategy that’s helped massively boost PRIME sales is their use of limited-time promotions. By offering special deals and discounts, they were able to increase the visibility of PRIME and attract new customers; scarcity can be a massive influencer in buying decisions. Are you too readily available to your customers, or is there a waiting list opportunity?
So, some good learning from PRIME, my kids would be proud! Although not as proud of their interior design efforts of the stacked used bottles of PRIME in their bedrooms!
