Last month, we ran our Advocate BIG Business Event, at The Belfry.
Held over 2 days, we bought ‘big business thinking’ to the SME world. It’s something we’re uniquely placed to deliver. (Here’s a short show reel, see who you can spot! WATCH VID).
We focus on ‘BIG’ because we get so frustrated with so many owners limiting themselves (and their company, and staff), by having a small business mentality.
You see, successful businesses (however big or small), have someone in a CEO role. This means they can:
- Make decisions; quickly.
- Provide the necessary resources to get the job done well, taking pressure of themselves.
- Build a sustainable & accountable culture, that retains and attracts staff.
- Deliver performance to get results.
Yes, it’s pushing you out of your comfort zone. But I promise you, it works.
An example of this is Keith, founder of both Rock & Rapid Adventures and The Bucket List Company. He won our Ad astra award for doing exactly this. And guess what? He recently turned over more in one month, than he did the entire 2017 (and he was doing well last year!).
Before you ask…Keith doesn’t have a huge team. He does have to work in his business. He does get stuck but asks for help. He does face challenges but looks in the mirror and learns from them.
